Principal

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I am so excited to start my 10th year in Onalaska Middle School.  Moving from California in 1995, I have loved being a Washingtonian for 28 years. Purple and gold are my colors through and through as a University of Washington Alum, so I knew Onalaska was the place for me in 2014. Along with traveling with my husband to see our three children who live in California, Colorado, and Texas, I enjoy fishing the lakes, skiing on the mountain, and coaching axe throwing.  Additionally, I look forward to spending time with our dog and two cats.

For 24 years, education has been my foundation and passion. I have worked in rural, suburban, and inner city schools in western Washington as a coach, para educator, teacher, and administrator.  Each of my roles has been influential in my life, allowing me to grow personally and as an educator.  It is my belief that every person and everything is a child’s teacher, and through positive relationships and passionate, intentional teaching, every child will learn and achieve great things.  This year, I look forward to having your child in middle school, as we all will help them reach for the stars!
